  • 20 g Grated natural bar soapAbout ⅕ to ¼ of a 100 g bar.
  • 500 ml Warm distilled water
  • 1 tsp Washing sodaDissolve first in a little hot water.

  • Pinch Citric acid or lemon juice (opt.)Add just before use — don't store.
Method
  1. Dissolve the washing soda in 250 ml hot water. Set aside.
  2. Add the grated soap and stir on low heat until completely dissolved (5–8 minutes).
  3. Stir in the glycerin (if using). Let cool completely.
  4. Remove from heat and slowly stir in the remaining 230–250 ml distilled water.
  5. Bottle it. Pour into a squeeze bottle. Shake before each use.
  6. Let it cool completely to room temperature. It should be nicely pourable/squirtable. If it's still a bit thick after cooling, warm it gently and add another 30–50 ml warm distilled water.
